Evolution of Wireless Communication

Data communication is one of the fundamental and success-critical factors in the supply chain. Basically, the previous categorizations apply. First category are technologies such as WWAN, including GSM, UMTS, WiMAX, and LTE.. A next category is WAN / LAN / MAN, as well as WLAN and Broadband Wireless Access.

Moreover, there are other transmission paths such as Bluetooth or NFC.

 

A look at the details reveals the complexity of the individual elements and, above all, the overlapping data transmission between different elements requires in-depth expert knowledge.

Additional to data communication, however, voice communication and the mix of both is always relevant in daily operations. VoIP, SIP, or the transition between VoWiFi and VoLTE can be challenging aspects.
